Coalville Board Game Festival - November 2024
We are proud and excited sponsor the first ever Coalville Board Game Festival hosted by Meeple People. The aim of this event is to raise money to buy board games for local schools. Below are the events to look out for!
The Festival kicks off Weds 30th October at Coalville CAN from 6pm. This will be a talk about what the festival is all about, events that are on
and how you can get involved.

MEEPLE PEOPLE November 2nd/3rd
Sat 10.00am-8.00pm / Sun 10.00am-4.00pm
From new players to experienced everyone is welcome. Bring along games to share or play games you don’t know how to play yet. There will also be games of blood on the clock tower through out the weekend.
We will be there demonstrating our games including some new ones! There will also be other games designers and craft makers there too. There will also be a chance to win some fantastic games as well as food to buy.

Play some games with your family and others. Every age welcome. Games will be provided. Booking needed through Coalville CAN.

Hosted at Elite Gaming – 5.30pm onwards.
Why not spend bonfire night in the warm playing a board game with others. Enjoy a hotdog and a game. Booking not needed. Just pay on the night.

Join us at the Library to play lots of different games and learn new ones with new friends and old one. Free refreshments.

Hosted at The Coal Bunker – 10.00am-4.00pm.
Cosy up with some Hygge style gaming. Bring your fluffy socks, blankets and oodies and enjoy some relaxing games. Food and drinks available at an extra charge including special hot chocolates.
Hygge (a word in Danish and Norwegian that describes a cozy, contented mood evoked by comfort and conviviality)

Children 8+ Only. Lunch Included.
Leave your child with registered child care providers to play board games, make board games and do board gaming crafts. Children must be able to sit and concentrate for an amount of time.
